Marco Zito created the NAPPA family of suspension lamps for Masiero. The beautiful decorative tassels are a reinterpretation of Venitian palaces’ curtains, but then summarised and decomposed to delete every classical asset and obtain contemporary designed elements.
The NAPPA family consists of ten elements in different shapes, details and decorative items. Combine they are great to create personalised compositions.
The metal bodies are enriched with brushed brass details, and the traditional textile fringes are replaced with small varnished or gold metallic beams. The characteristic technical element that has been elaborated to be a distinctive aesthetic mark is the ceiling fixing system: brass spheres connect the power wire and fix the elements to the ceiling, drawing a lines plot between elements. The tassels give a contemporary and minimalist design, intensified by the touch-effect matt pastel finishings. A total white finishing is available too. Warm-light LED system produces 750 lm, and the light is amplified from metallic fringes or a smoke glass striped borosilicate diffusor.
